Data Availability and Redundancy for Disaster Recovery
Track: GIS Organization, Management, and Implementation
Author(s): Matt Peters

The Utah Automated Geographic Reference Center (AGRC) is a mature Geospatial technologies agency with approximately 30 GB of vector datalayers and 5 TB of imagery. There are many schemes for data back-up and redundancy for use in the event of a disaster. AGRC will present lessons learned and experiences with traditional solutions, AGRC will also explore government and private sector storage and data delivery solutions for data that can be consumed as services.
