Track: State and Local Government
Author(s): Sharon Stevenson, Barry Puckett, Pam Cote

For over 15 years, Gwinnett County, Georgia, has benefited from Esri technologies to store, manage, and maintain spatially related data within a growing community. Rapid development has led to increased demands associated with the land development review process and maintenance activities. The engineering and surveying communities are using the County's GIS on a regular basis to leverage and expedite their work. The County is under pressure to manage this growing workload while providing high levels of customer service.

Gwinnett County will expand its use of Esri-based technologies, including ArcGIS Server, to improve the plan review process and associated enterprise GIS workflow to save time and money while ensuring that information is accurate and readily available to County staff and customers. This session will discuss GIS solutions to support enterprise GIS maintenance activities and improve decision-making and public safety field applications based on the Enterprise Digital Document Submittal Guidelines and technology.
