Digital As-built Review - Indiana Uses ArcInfo to Maintain GIS

This discussion will identify methods for accomplishing the process of digital as-built review through utilization of ArcInfo and the benefits that can be realized. It will focus on a case study of how the Town of Fishers, Indiana, has decided to handle their digital as-built submittal process. The following points will be covered: county collaboration of the digital as-built submission standard; overview of the Town's role in the process; the developer's responsibilities; submission standards; the process for reviewing these submissions; advantage of no cost to the City; GIS data development as a result of this process; and the end results of each digital submission.
