Abstract Developing Geographic Data Repositories using ArcSDE Track: Metadata and Data Publishing Author(s): Tsering Shawa, William Guthe Researchers collect or purchase large amounts of spatial data, but rarely have strategies to document and store their data or research results. Such data can be managed, analyzed and displayed within a Geographic Information System, and stored for future use by others. Research data are organized into data repositories, which can then provide information for further research, communication with various audiences, or visualization in interactive displays. This presentation will share our experiences and challenges of developing Geographic Data Repositories at Princeton University.
