Using ArcGIS to Evaluate Weather Warnings

ArcGIS will be used to analyze National Weather Service warnings issued over a period of time. ArcObjects will be employed to design customized verification measures linking weather warning polygons with actual events. These values can then be used to evaluate service effectiveness and validation of the new Storm-Based Warning philosophy employed in the agency since October 2007.
