Army Mapper - GIS for the Installations and Environment Domain

The Army is undertaking an initiative to standardize it's geospatial systems. There are currently 34 web-based geospatial systems in the Installations and Environment (I&E) domain. These 34 web-based systems will be consolidated into the Army Mapper. The Army Mapper is the GIS system for the Installations and Environment domain. It provides basic web viewing tools, data editing and maintenance tools as well as business support tools. This presentation will discuss the technical approach and challenges to migrating to the Army Mapper.
