The need for accurate data and geographical assessment is increasing in the insurance market due to the impact of climate change and natural catastrophes. This presentation describes the insurance cycle and how geography is being used by both RSA Group and Munich Re Group to understand and manage these risks. We explore the benefits of geocoding for use in primary insurance underwriting, risk and accumulation monitoring, as well as look at reinsurance services such as CatLossEstimation and Claims Verification.
