This presentation will describe the process used by Pasadena to identify its tree canopy using high resolution near infra red imagery and LiDAR derived elevation models in ArcGIS. This presentation requires no previous remote sensing experience and is targeted to the average GIS user. We will provide a step by step process model so you can recreate our process.
