Track: Health and Human Services
Author(s): Robert Page

Water for People helps people in developing countries improve their quality of life by supporting the development of locally sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities and health and hygiene education programs. Water for People's World Water Corps volunteers map and assess water and sanitation conditions in focus countries. This presentation traces the development of World Water Corps mapping from hand drawn symbols on paper maps through the creation of a variety of GIS applications for use in the field and office.
