Creating Terminal Procedures Using PLTS Aeronautical

This presentation will demonstrate the efficient and productive gains established by integrating components of the ArcGIS suite of software products. By approaching the complex business process of creating and maintaining terminal procedures from a database-driven workflow, rather than the traditional CAD method, the quality and efficiency of this critical flight safety product is enhanced. The benefits realized from optimizing the production process include reduced production time, increased product accuracy, and the ability to directly ingest source data in different international data formats. The various components of Esri software that form the backbone of this system include Geoprocessing (Desktop), Data Interoperability, and PLTS Aeronautical.
