Track: State and Local Government
Author(s): Xander Mavrides

From over 5,200 miles of water infrastructure management to crime analysis, Cleveland’s Enterprise GIS (CEGIS) program supports all facets of spatial technology in the City. After years of planning, data conversion and system implementation, the City of Cleveland has formally rolled out a true Enterprise GIS. Built on the latest technology, the GIS supports citywide business processes through spatial data collection & maintenance, analysis, and dissemination through a central architecture. The adoption of GIS has effectively re-invented our business of serving the public. This session presents as implementation overview, lessons learned, ROI and current enterprise application integrations, such as: 311, Permitting, AVL, CIS, address validation web-services, and Asset Management.
