Digitizing Historic Maps of Almedina alongside with Modern City Map

A number of Issues are considered, together with a heuristic solution. The first is that historic maps are invaluable and indispensible tools for tracing historic events on site. The second is the fast development of old cities, that is changing landmarks, city characters, as well as, folding its history in oblivion. The third is how much information we miss when historic geo-data is no longer recognizable. To overcome these unwelcome issues, a heuristic Solution is proposed. A prototype of Medina historic maps, being digitized and included as layers within modern GeoSatMap, is given. Most of the above unfavorable issues disappear, and the solution is turned into a set of new geo-analytical tools that is promising as profitable as Ever-Ready GIS.
