Track: Environmental Management
Author(s): Hye-jin Kim, Moonjin Lee

Environmental Sensitivity Index Map (ESI Map) is useful information to make a decision for respond oil or chemical spill pollution accident in coastal area. Environmental sensitivity information relating to pollutant spill is very various and very complex spatially, so efficient access and utilization of ESI information are necessary. It is possible to use GIS. In this study, environmental sensitive resources of Korean coastal area and response resources information were built using ArcInfo. These information can be identified and analyzed in ArcMap for making response strategy.
