Western Municipal Water District, CA District serves 527 Sq. Miles, roughly 24,000 retail and eight wholesale customers with water from the Colorado River and the State Water Project.
Western currently sells approx.125,000 acre-feet of water annually. This is equal to about 34 billion gallons of water. Western operates and maintains domestic and industrial wastewater collection and conveyance systems for retail and contract services customers. Nobel Systems was contracted by WMWD for data conversion, hosting, custom applications and provide recommendations.
Attendees will learn the processes and techniques used by Nobel systems for WMWD.
Topics include a review on how WMWD facilitated data design and how that work translates into a more manageable environment as the system grows to enhance data integrity and security. Also, attendees will learn why it is critical for Cities / Districts to have a model to succeed.
