ULKER-Seher Gida's Route Planning Solutions Using ArcLogistics Software

Seher Gida is division of ULKER CO. operates a fleet of over 100 trucks in Istanbul city and is one of Turkeys largest food retail company. They produce high volume dairy food and distribute to almost 30.000 customers at istanbul city. Esri TURKEY & Polar Technology Ltd. Co. has been starting to develop Seher Gidas route planning solutions using by Arclogistics route and vehicle tracking solution Autoguard.
In this project Arclogistics are used to determine which vehicle should serve each customer location and the best stop sequence to accommodate Seher gidas time windows while minimizing travel distance and time.Benefits of these projects are a reduction in the numbers of trucks %10,Increased efficiency %20 i.e each vehicle visited more customer in less time,saving ovearll costs %20 and better capacity utilisation and less kilometers driven and increased customer services
