AbstractMilitary Installation Map (MIM) Production Strategy Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Robert Maple The U.S. Army Sustainable Range Program (SRP), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and the Department of the Army G-2 (Intelligence) have recently collaborated on the production of the Military Installation Map (MIM). The SRP GIS Program has worked closely with NGA and G-2 to standardize symbology and graphics commonly seen on a MIM. The result is a standardized product that provides a “common picture” for Warriors training at various installations. Printing and stocking of MIMs will be managed through the NGA Arnold Map Facility (St. Louis, MO) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Mapping Facility (Richmond, VA), thus saving SRP resources and providing current and accurate geospatial information to the men and women using our training lands.
