The Strategic Plan provides a guide for the municipality for the next three to five years and communicates that direction to both the internal and external GIS users.
The actual implementation depends on the participation, enthusiasm and commitment of each municipal staff, hence a GIS Technical Forum Committee was formulated. The Strategic Plan details the existing scenario, goals, enterprise efforts, long-term objectives, integrative GIS solution efforts and actions for its full implementation.
The strategic planning team believes in the vision and mission as expressed in this plan. The successful implementation of the goals and strategies included in this plan will make the municipality more pro-active and responsive to customers and will make a GIS more effective and useful service to the entire municipality and public.
