This presentation presents a case study of a GIS developed for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The reach of this project is massive, involving over 300 feature classes, integration of multiple existing information systems, a web-based portal that is expected to be used by 200 users, and extensive data development. Exterior and interior data are managed within a single Oracle Spatial database using an Esri ArcGIS Server application to query and display the information. The presentation will describe the work done to define the geodatabase structures for facility feature classes, create the facility data in the field, transform it into the GIS database, and present it to end users via a web Portal.
