AbstractAquatic Habitat Conservation Plan (AHCP) - Road GIS DBTrack: Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management Author One of the main objectives within the AHCP is to reduce management-related sediment inputs into watercourses from our road network. In order to comply with this mandate our sediment control technicians will conduct road inventories and road maintenance assessment to identify and quantify road related sediment. In order to evaluate possible treatment applications for indentified sediment sources it is necessary to develop a spatial and database model for the landscape. The database allows Green Diamond Resource Co (GDRCo) to store and evaluate a number of parameters including potential of sediment delivery, fish passage issues, equipment estimates, actualized cost, estimated sediment savings, road decommissioning, and treatment prioritization based on volume of future sediment delivery, treatment immediacy and overall cost-effectiveness. The spatial component of the database will allow efficient and accurate mapping of road point treatment sites for planning and execution, upgrade the database and build customs queries through customs spatial tools.
