AbstractCaseload Mapping and Home Visit Routing for Parole OfficersTrack: Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Author The Colorado Department of Corrections, Division of Adult Parole, sought ways to make current GIS capabilities more powerful as well as to provide a routing system for more efficient offender home visit planning. Through the collaborative efforts of several agencies as well as federal grant funding, the Division has implemented a caseload mapping and routing web-based program. GIS capabilities have been extended in a user friendly manner to parole officers across the state of Colorado.
