AbstractUSAREUR Sustainable Range Program Automated Data Standardization and Quality ControlTrack: Defense and Intelligence Author Developing GIS data for numerous sites is one thing, but ensuring that data currency and quality is maintained across an entire data collection is another. The multiplication of data items makes data standardization and quality control a more challenging undertaking. In U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR), the Sustainable Range Program (SRP) GIS Regional Support Center faces this challenge. Our area of responsibility extends over several countries, with our data requiring multiple levels of standardization and corresponding quality control checks. This presentation will outline ArcGIS scripts and tools that were developed to build efficiently a consistent, standardized data collection for USAREUR SRP.
