AbstractWeb-Enabling Supply Node ManagementTrack: Defense and Intelligence Author In promoting Customer Service Vision (CSV) going beyond transportation solutions, the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), a provider of full spectrum global logistics solutions uses IRRIS® GIS to present web-based nodal visibility of critical sustainment supplies to the war fighter. USTRANSCOM chose IRRIS GIS, an existing capability, because it could be expanded to quickly display web-based geospatial supply node management data. IRRIS GIS, which utilizes a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) baseline, is an existing geospatial web solution that is a united system within the GCSS-J Family of Systems. USTRANSCOM considered other DoD command and control systems with an interest in web-enabling their thick-client capabilities. This demonstration will showcase the capabilities that NoMaDD provides in enabling users at USTRANSCOM to support multi- modal, multi-nodal, factory-to-foxhole tracking of mission essential cargo through an intuitive Web-based interface.
