Track: Water, Wastewater, and Storm Water

Using the rainfall simulator, the observed flow was performed in summer 2009. In this study, we appraised the stormwater delay property of the real urban areas using the measured value of green roof panels. Iidabashi and surrounding areas (Chiyoda district, Tokyo) are a flood- prone area which accumulates population and assets. The rooftop area measured by GIS and we assumed the some kinds of green roof construction. Stormwater flowing simulated using rainfall intensity (150mm/hr) and rainfall duration time (1hour). As the results, it was considered that the green roof panels were the effective combination to delay stormwater.
