Development projects use sampling methods to conduct different surveys for measuring progress or impact of the interventions. Quality survey data is important by making sure of using authentic sampling methodology in right way for correct decision making using findings. Save the Children-USA in Bangladesh has completed the endline survey of the food security program using systematic random sampling method and used GIS. The data collectors used GPS device to get coordinates of the selected sampled household using systematic random sampling method considering sampling interval. After end of the day household coordinates were inserted in the map using ArcGIS software. The supervisors and quality control team then verified whether they have followed the right procedure for selecting households and provided necessary feedback to the data collectors. Initially, it shows they are doing some mistakes and not following the method rightly but ultimately the survey ended with high quality data and results.
