Migrating to the Cloud - A Case Study

In order to provide GIS students with cutting-edge technology, Arizona State University (an Esri Developer Center) implemented ArcGIS Server in-house. When the time came to take this technology to the next level, Arizona State migrated their ArcGIS implementation to Amazon EC2.

This presentation will discuss the steps taken to migrate an in-house ArcGIS Server implementation to the cloud, as well as lessons learned and the benefits of such a migration.
