Using Geographic Information Systems Municipal Government updates the characteristics of the territory, such as infrastructure, equipment, services, etc. In conjunction with the Department of Ecology, civil defense, public safety, health, etc., We obtain useful information for decision making, thus minimizing work time, reduce costs and get a good tax revenue, according to the actual characteristics of premises and orderly urban growth. The Land Registry, is an essential element used to plan, regulate and control the provision of public goods and services to the community and manage the use of urban land and rural. The amount of information that is scanned into the mapping of the area is vast, from archaeological surveys, hydromineral, urban, ecological, tourism, public security and biodiversity, to name a few. Using Geographic Information Systems municipal government manages to get the strength to improve urban infrastructure and services and thereby promote a better quality of life.
