Masaryk University implements Building Management System (BMS) based on BACNet open protocol for new university campus. The BMS applications are used for monitoring and controlling technologies of the new University Campus buildings such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and cooling), lighting, fire alarm system, intrusion system, access system, CCTV, etc. BMS provides a means of storing a historical building operation data in the relational database.
We describe our experience with visualization of BMS data and integration BMS and other FM systems with using GIS.
