Vehicle Routing Perishable Cargo using Geographic Information System

The aim of this paper is to present a methodology applied to vehicle routing problems (VRP) for perishable products with delivery time constraints and combine them with the potential of ArcGIS that expand the capacity of the results to be obtained, and simplify the preparation and formulation of problems.
The work was developed in ArcGIS using the 'Network Analyst' and a routine implemented in Python to determine the routes necessary to meet all the demands and assumptions of the fleet (of vehicles heterogeneous) to present the lowest possible cost.
