GIS Applications for the Leasing and Development of Shopping Centers

Edens & Avant uses Esri Business Analyst software on the desktop and online to help its retailers make the most informed decisions. Retailers can see and understand all information available for each shopping center location based on data and maps pulled from GIS. Business Analyst Online (BAO) is used to generate customized trade area and radius reports for shopping center locations that is then used by the investment, leasing, and development groups so they can better visualize and understand their markets. The software is also used to identify new markets that are similar to those in which the retailers are already successfully operating.
