Hold the Salt! Utah's Agriculture Salinity Program: A Geographic approach

The Utah Department of Agriculture(UDAF) manages the Salinity program to reduce the salt load in the Colorado River Basin in Utah. UDAF collaborated with the Utah Automated Geographic Reference Center(AGRC) to produce an ArcGIS Server based application to enter spatial and tabular data to create contracts with farmers for planning and implementing agricultural practices to decrease the salt load. This presentation will introduce the technologies used and the processes followed to create this web-based application.
