Pipe Network Analysis by Three High-quality Elements
Track: Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater

The local government is executing the water supply business and the water service is almost widespread to whole land in Japan. The staffs of the municipalities have daily utilized the pipe network analysis system because of the improvement work of facilities and the efficient operation.

The following three high-quality elements are constructed for the pipe network analysis on ArcGIS.
1.The altitude of the node is acquired from the ortho image by 3D processing.
2.The hydraulic analysis is processed at high speed by correspondence to coalition type Solver that the parallel processing is possible.
3.The analytical model is made by space analysis from Geometric network and altitude data.

As a result, the improvement work can be executed by using this system without addressing the complaint of rust and impurity from the resident, because the flow and the flow velocity of actual water can be understood by the high accurate analysis.
