Critigen (UK) has a major contract with London Tideway Tunnels (Thames Water) for a multi-million dollar urban waste water tunnel development. The GIS Team is comprised of only six people, supporting a project of almost 300, with very high demanding service requests in response to changing (project) priorities and requirements.

ArcGIS v10.x has helped to increase productivity and functionality of the GIS team. The Critigin (UK) GIS Team has exploited the addition of the arcpy.mapping function in, along with other existing ArcGIS functions to achieve results, manage expectations and improve the technical capability of a small, high performing team.

The team has created a series of custom tools to dramatically improve the time required to respond to requests and meet deadlines, thus allowing more time to focus on increasing our technical ability and broadening the scope of support and customer awareness of GIS to the project.
