Existing and planned web services of the Greek Cadastre

Ktimatologio S.A. is in charge of creating and operating the Cadastre in Greece. Ever since 2003, cadastre operates in many remote offices based on software developed and maintained by the IT department of Ktimatologio S.A. In 2008 Ktimatologio S.A. managed to collect about 6.5 million rights of 2.5 million citizens with the use of web enabled technologies and thin clients all over Greece. In 2010 a new service for public access to orthophotos of very high resolution was published and sophisticated GIS tools for authorized access and digitization on nation-wide images were developed. Planned projects include the further publishing of nation-wide raster and vector data and the development of further professional web services and products for organisations, citizens and professionals.
