Smart Phone Cameras Improve Storm Assessments at LG&E/KU Energy

Last year, LG&E and KU Energy (at the time E.ON US) presented their Internal Outage Comunication Project at the ESRI User Conference. The project involved presenting large volumes of critical storm events data to their operations community. This year, learn how LG&E and KU Energy have expanded this architecture to include real-time submission of photographs taken by mobile devices in the field and how this assists in storm assessment. Also discussed is how they have enabled their spatial business intelligence platform to incorporate pole treatment programs.
