Understanding, Identifying and Correcting Parcel Fabric Modifications and Errors

Parcel fabric changes will cause seemingly innocuous data integrity issues to bring into question the accuracy of the organizations entire existing data set and challenge the GIS community to address issues that have lay hidden for many years.

This presentation will discuss the different types of parcel fabric descrepencies, present several methods to identify the extent of the data intergrity problem, and propose workflows to aid in gauging the resources needed to realize true parcel fabric integrity.

Analysis techniques will include several server-side, desktop and mobile applications, tools and reports that can be used to identify each type of data intergrity issue.

Proposed workflows will demonstrate possible methods for identifying the sources of data integrity error introduction and/or re-introduction, whether through the use of in-situ staff, temp-forces or consultants.
