The concepts of information gathering and validation for Business Continuity are very basic and the methodologies and technologies supporting them have been proven in practice across many humanitarian agencies. The Humanitarian Aid Community implements these proven methodologies through Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Community Resilience programs around the world, mitigating the impact of disasters on the communities we serve.

This session will explore opportunities for enhancing and integrating existing thought and technology to more effectively mitigate, prepare for, and collaborate during large scale disasters.
