Authors: Bull Bennett

According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, marginalized populations that lack critical infrastructure and resources are most vulnerable to impacts brought on by a changing climate. The discussion objective is to demonstrate the partnership and efforts of the "NASA Tribal College and University Program: Preparing Indian Country for Climate Change through Technology, Education and Research" Cooperative Agreement. This CAN focuses on building geospatial and research capacity of Tribal Colleges to address climate change disparity across Indian Country. Specific work includes supporting TCU faculty / student teams to conduct research on biophysical and societal impacts of climate change in preparation for assessing risk for indigenous communities across the United States.
