GPS/GNSS technology continues to evolve. Not only is receiver technology becoming smaller, faster and cheaper, but satellite system infrastructure is changing. New satellites model are being being developed and launched, and new satellite signals are being deployed.

How are these new satellites, signals, and receivers going to affect the GPS/GNSS tools that surveyors and engineers (and their clients) use?

GPS/GNSS receiver development isn't leveling-off anytime soon. Many more receiver manufacturers are bringing their products to the market. The GPS/GNSS product landscape is changing and will continue to change at an increasing rate.
