Managing and Publishing Data with Army Mapper

Army Mapper's database architecture includes a simple, yet powerful, solution for managing, publishing and archiving installation data. This discussion will review and explain the various Army Mapper database environments, the edit process in the Maintenance & Analysis (M&A) environment, and the data publishing process into the Record (R&A) and Publication (PUB) environments. Users will gain an understanding of the data management process including the AM_GUID (unique identifier for every feature in the environment), spatial data cleanup procedures, automatic attribute calculation and the Army Mapper's historical data warehouse strategy.
