Data for Facilities Management can be created and improved progressively through the use of a variety of GIS tools and approaches. In some cases basic data collectors can be used, in others, robust specifically built applications are required. In some situations, GeoPDF's work effectively. NIH has leveraged each of these techniques as appropriate to meet its needs for timely accurate geospatial data on its campus' and within its buildings.
