Customer Connections Solution Leveraging GIS

Enbridge Gas Distribution has recognized a need to provide a field solution to the field representatives that connect customers to its gas distribution network. An analysis was conducted to analyze the information needs of the field representatives, and a project was kicked-off to implement a solution that leverages GIS to manage information throughout the customer connection process. Attendees will learn how Enbridge incorporated technology into the business process for connecting customers; how the project team leveraged GIS in other applications to integrate office and field information; how to improve customer service and proactively identify customers by integrating information in a spatial context.
