Round-2 of GFATM was focused on HIV prevention among young people in Bangladesh. Apparently Life Skills Education (LSE) and Youth Friendly Health Services (YFHS) was two prime components which were addressed through functioning of 220 Youth Clubs and 224 Health Service Delivery Points (HSDP). Main focus of Round-6 was Injecting Drug Users and Female Sex Workers reaching through 170 Drop in Centers (DICs) spread all over the country with continued focus on young people. Due to time differences between two rounds, DICs/Clubs/HSDPs were dispersedly located hindering district-based integrated approach. It has been possible to overcome due to installation of GIS. GIS map generated based upon ESRI ArcView software, now it has become easier to identify all service delivery points in each location, plan for establishing or re-locating DICs/Clubs/HSDPs in closer distance, make referral functional, avoid duplication/overlapping and thereby help beneficiaries to access comprehensive services in cost-effective manner.
