Analyzing Geospatial Infrastructure Development in China, Russia, Ukraine and Georgia

A comparative analysis of the current status and level of development of geospatial technologies in four post-socialist nations will be examined. Factors that have promoted or retarded adoption and dissemination of GIS and related technologies and particularly applications in the telecommunications, transportation, energy and cadastral spheres will be presented with an emphasis on similarities in challenges and differences in outcomes.
