The Greater Cincinnati Data Portal was developed to address data-sharing between multiple community organizations. The data-rich information portal is an interactive, web-based mapping and visualization tool that is a unique, user-friendly, and powerful resource for regional policymakers and community leaders, allowing users to visualize the community indicators that are most relevant to their interests. The design provides an easy-to-use data management interface that allows organizations to upload their own point and polygon data. The data can be selectively shared across organizations, while allowing each organization to customize both the front-facing user interface and the collection of data being displayed on their own websites.
