Putting content into context: enhancing environmental health and safety
Track: Business and Commercial

Global companies need efficient and sustainable processes that facilitate information exchange. One example is the need to exchange health, safety, and environmental information to meet compliance obligations, aid in operational preparedness, and develop effective emergency management and response plans. Providing others with information is only helpful when that information reflects real life situations and helps drive the decisions that need to be made and the questions that need to be answered. Solutions developed should be collaborative, meet the need of the user, support situational assessments, and enable rapid and effective decision-making. This presentation will discuss using geospatial mapping in conjunction with modeling tools to put information and other essential content into a usable, visual context in order to enhance decision making.
