In this session, we will explore the Interactive Atlas of Heart Disease and Stroke, a web-mapping application developed by DHDSP to assist users in identifying places that bear the greatest burden of cardiovascular disease. The Interactive Atlas, leveraging the ArcGIS Server Flex API, allows users to interactively display heart disease, stroke, and health services data at county and state levels, while also analyzing risk factors such as race, age, gender, and lifestyle choices.
