Estimate in forest areas of Mongolia

Mongolia has limited forest reserve cover of only 8percent country land area. The forests are mainly located in the central and northern region of the country, forming a transition zone between the Siberian Boreal Forest and the Central Asian steppe desert area.
Forest resources are vitally important for rural livelihood and local business that rely on timber and other forest products. Forest landscapes serve as maintaining fresh water supply, stabilizing soil and provide diverse habitats for wildlife.
With effective forest management, it can also provide serving supply of forest products that could meet demand of Mongolia.
It is required investigate the "Sustainable timber supply availability to the domestic market under the forest cleaning activities without affecting the standing tree reserve of Mongolia
This study presents "Actual natural forest reserve with standing trees and dead fallen timber reserve separated in some forest areas of the Bulgan, Selenge, Khentii province in Mongolia.
