Riverside County Fire Department as a public safety department monitors each 911 incident very carefully with the mission to provide superior customer services through continuous improvement, innovation and the most efficient and responsible use of resources. Until now Riverside County fire posts information about recent incidents in their internet website as text format, but revolutionary development of ArcGIS mapping for Share Point made it possible to show real time Incident data using Sharepoint. We setup automatic downloading of Incident data every 10 minutes from Cal Fire's Crystal Report Website to SQL Table, this data contains Longitude and Latitude of the calls and converted to Spatial Table. It was then published as Query Layer and push it on top of a base map in our existing SharePoint internet site to show Incidents occured in last 24 hours and it refreshes every 10 minutes to show the most recent incidents.
