The National Environmental Technology Center (NETC), King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Riyadh , Saudi Arabia is carrying out a project named 'The National Air Pollution Diagnostic and Alarming System' to measure the pollution in Riyadh city and Its surroundings. The Riyadh city is divided into 12 X 12 KM Grid covering an Area of 2,204 Sq. Km. Due to some constraints only 16 mobile monitoring stations are hosted at 16 locations which are approximately at the center of each grid. However the concentration level of pollutants at other parts of the city is also of interest to the planners and environmentalist. Hence ESRI ArcGis 'Geoprocessing Geostatistical Analysis' technology is used to predict the possible optimal concentrations of various pollutants by adding the wind velocity data as streamlines and indicators of direction and examining the relationships between all the sample points and producing a continuous surface of concentration.
