Single housing registry in Mexico, an inventory and analysis tool

RUV found in GIS the appropriate solution to generate for the first time in Mexico a single housing catalog at a national level, and through the spatial analysis tools, means that today allow to evaluate relevant aspects from technical and financial perspectives, such as housing quality (identifying distances to required infrastructure and work centers for example), environmental security (identifying its location outside areas with danger by natural disaster), sustainability from varied perspectives, and respect for each City urban development plan. Today housing GIS (SIG Vivienda) integrates all the actors (and their information) that participate in the cycle of the housing industry in Mexico, from on-line data integration to diffusion tools, developers, verifiers, urban planners, mortgage agencies and clients, have been integrated to this GIS ecosystem that manages real state social housing in Mexico, which means about one million mortgages each year.
